Stabilization of panel assembling. This is the purpose of panel
inside's design.
The design has simple wiring route, easy installation of parts and
well-considered design of inside board so that anybody, who
assemble the panel, can get the same quality.
Look at panel inside. It is so simple and beautiful.
This also makes localization of panel assembling outside Japan easier.

NC Servo Driver
Servo controller, driver and power circuit are unifi ed in one unit:
All the necessary key-parts for servo control are unifi ed in one body and it enabled
compact and simple design and wiring inside panel.
Strong noise resistance:
To improve noise trouble, what should be done? We show the answer in two ways.
One is to restrain noise generating as much as possible. The other is to be
unaff ected from outside noise as much as possible.
To restrain noise generating, we have realized extreme low inductance on
hardwiring of IGBT stack and extreme low level of switching noise.
To be unaff ected from outside noise, we have omitted as much as possible junction
and extra wirings in between cards and devices.
IGBT short-circuit protection:
On NSD, a protection device is newly added for IGBT module. This device works to
protect from damage on IGBT when he is in short-circuit.
Percentage of IGBT damages when it's in trouble has disappeared.
Low Inertia Servo Motor
It is important for servo control that adopting motor's inertia would
be as low as possible. We provide Li (=low inertia) motor from 2kw to
350kw.
From 2kw up to 15kw, we have only permanent magnet motor
having lowest inertia level in this fi eld.
Smart Servo Series
Smart Servo, SS series was developed with aiming high performance
and very compact in multi-function and several axis motor drives.
Main controller SS-main and SS-disp, Linux based panel PC with
touch screen, is united by bus connection. SS-disp also have NC-Navi
function and if LAN cable for internet is connected to SS-disp, NUSCO
service center can access directly with SS-main thru SS-disp.
This brings practical remote maintenance and on the monitor screen
in NUSCO service center we can see how SS-main
works without time delay.
SS-main+SS-disp is 192mm x 120mm x 44mm 0.7kg only.
In case of emergency, it's very easy to remove and install. Possible to
send per courier service. No space as spare parts.

Wire Saving
N-NET link system, developed originally for servo control, enables
only one LAN cable instead more than 7 cables used in normal wiring.
For example, if there is 100m distance having 3 axis between drive
side and operation desk placed controller, formerly 100m x 3axis x 7
cables was necessary, however at present N-NET makes it only one
LAN cable.
This is a great wire saving. And also only one LAN cable covers 32
axis!
